§ 27-3317. Penalties.\n Any producer, representative organization, or retailer who violates\nany provision of or fails to perform any duty imposed pursuant to this\ntitle shall be liable for a civil penalty not to exceed five hundred\ndollars for each violation and an additional penalty of not more than\nfive hundred dollars for each day during which such violation continues.\nCivil penalties shall be assessed by the department after a hearing or\nopportunity to be heard pursuant to the provisions of section 71-1709 of\nthis chapter.\n
