* § 27-2901. Definitions.\n 1. "Collection program" means a system for the collection,\ntransportation, recycling, and disposal of out-of-service mercury\nthermostats that is financed and managed or provided by a thermostat\nmanufacturer individually or collectively with other thermostat\nmanufacturers in accordance with this section.\n 2. "Mercury thermostat" means a product or device that uses a mercury\nswitch to sense and control room temperature through communication with\nheating, ventilation, or air-conditioning equipment and includes\nthermostats used to sense and control room temperature in residential,\ncommercial, industrial and other buildings but does not include a\nthermostat used to sense and control temperature as part of a\nmanufacturing process.\n 3.
