§ 27-1111. Public participation and education.\n The department shall establish a public information program which\naddresses:\n 1. The nature and dimension of the industrial hazardous waste\ntreatment, storage and disposal facility siting problem.\n 2. The need for the establishment of a statewide hazardous waste\nfacility siting plan including the need to site any additional\nindustrial hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal facilities\nand the role of waste reduction, recycling and reuse in the planning\nprocess.\n 3. The necessity and opportunities for public participation in the\nsiting and planning process.\n
