§ 174. Eligibility for participation.
1.All persons who, as of the\neffective date of this article, are or shall become eligible to\nparticipate in the state health benefit plan established under article\neleven of this chapter, shall be eligible to participate in the long\nterm care insurance plan established under this article. The president\nshall adopt regulations prescribing the conditions under which an\neligible individual may elect to participate in the long term care\ninsurance plan.\n 2. The president shall adopt regulations prescribing the conditions\nunder which an individual participating in the long term care insurance\nplan may elect to withdraw from the plan.\n
