§ 280-l. Administration of the county district. When a county district\nshall have been established, the governing body shall appoint, designate\nor establish an officer, board or body as the administrative head or\nbody of the district. All matters relating to the membership of such\nadministrative head or body, including but not limited to, numbers,\nmethod of selection, tenure, qualifications and compensation, shall be\ndetermined by the governing body. A member of the governing body or any\nother county officer or official may be appointed as administrative head\nor as a member of the administrative body provided that he shall receive\nno additional salary or compensation for such services.
