§ 232. County officers' and county executives' associations. Power is\ngranted each board of supervisors to appropriate and pay annually to the\ntreasurer of the New York state association of counties, and/or to the\ntreasurer of the county executives' association of the state of New\nYork, and/or to the treasurer of the county legislators and supervisors\nassociation of New York State, and/or to the treasurer of the New York\nstate association of directors of real property tax services, an amount\nnot exceeding that apportioned and requested as its share of the actual\nand necessary expenses of maintaining each of said associations in their\nactivities in the promotion of better county government.\n
