§ 236-a. County master electrician licensing.
1.Notwithstanding the\nprovisions of the general city law or any other law to the contrary, the\ncounties of Dutchess, Suffolk and Westchester are each hereby authorized\nto establish a county board of examiners for master electricians and to\nempower such board to assume all licensing duties within each such\ncounty with respect to the licensure of master electricians. The\ncounties of Dutchess, Suffolk and Westchester shall provide for master\nelectrician's duties and responsibilities in accordance with the local\nlaw of each such county.\n 2. The local laws enacted pursuant to this section shall supercede the\nprovisions of any licensing requirements promulgated by a city pursuant\nto the general city law.\n
