§ 151-o. Soil health research. The commissioner shall make available\npractical information from soil health research to agricultural\nproducers in urban, suburban and rural communities with goals to:\ncontinue accelerating the percentage of farmers who actively utilize\nbest management practices to foster soil health and resiliency; and,\npromote scientific understanding of soil health and carbon sequestration\nwith various farming practices, including but not limited to no-till,\ncover cropping, managed grazing, perennial pasture, and precise\napplication of added nutrients to achieve nitrous oxide emissions\nreduction.\n
