§ 151-b. Education and training. The commissioner is authorized,\nwithin funds available, to provide education and training to prospective\nand certified planners in agriculturally related water quality and\nenvironmental issues; and training to participants in the program. The\ndepartment may contract with Cornell cooperative extension, the United\nStates department of agriculture natural resources conservation service\nor other parties to provide such education and training. Educational and\ntraining materials may include a review of environmental, legal and\ntechnical standards affecting agricultural operations; environmental\nconcerns associated with agricultural activities; and agricultural\nmanagement principles affecting the environment.\n
