Text
A final judgment or decree rendered in favor of the State in a criminal proceeding brought under Chapter 20 or 21 of Title 2C of the New Jersey Statutes shall estop the defendant in the action or proceeding in any subsequent civil action as to all matters as to which the judgment in the action or proceeding would be an estoppel between the parties to it. L. 1987, c. 454, s. 5.
