§ 52:27BB-45 — Compensation of department for services rendered

New Jersey·Title 52 STATE GOVERNMENT, DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICERS
The board shall fix reasonable charges, for the services rendered under sections twenty-nine, thirty, thirty-six, thirty-seven, thirty-eight and forty-two of this act, and by agreement for the making of a regular audit. Such charges shall represent, as nearly as possible, the actual cost of the services, but shall not exceed twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per diem for each person actually engaged in the performance of the services. The charges for the services, as so fixed, shall be paid by the political subdivision receiving the services. The charges may be recovered, in the name of the State, by the director, as a contractual debt, in any court of competent jurisdiction. All moneys received or collected for such charges shall be paid forthwith into the State treasury. L.1947, c. 151, p. 66
