§ 51:11-5 — Sale in bulk amounts of 100 pounds or less; receipt; contents; exception

No person shall sell soil amendments in bulk in amounts of 100 pounds or less unless such sale is accompanied by a receipt containing the net weight of the soil amendment, the type or kind of soil amendment, the name and address of the dealer, the unit price of the soil amendment and the total amount of the sale. This section shall not apply to soil amendments when sold at the seller's retail establishment and weighed or measured in the consumer's presence. L.1968, c. 450, s. 5.
