23.
a.Not less than 50 percent of the continuing education courses of study that licensees are required to complete as a condition for licensure renewal shall demonstrate significant intellectual or practical content and deal with matters directly related to home improvement or home elevation contracting, workforce safety, or the business of running a company in the home improvement or home elevation industry or trade. In no event shall the board require that courses in these core topics comprise more than 60 percent of the total continuing education hours required for the renewal of any license.
b.In the case of continuing education courses and programs, each hour of instruction shall be equivalent to one credit. L.2023, c.237, s.23.
