§ 45:5AAA-12 — Applicability, exceptions, "The New Home Warranty and Builders' Registration Act" registered, professions, certain.

New Jersey·Title 45 PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS
11.The provisions of sections 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 17, and 20 through 23 of P.L.2023, c.237 (C.45:5AAA-7 et al.) shall not apply to: a. Any individual required to register pursuant to "The New Home Warranty and Builders' Registration Act," P.L.1977, c.467 (C.46:3B-1 et seq.), but only in conjunction with the building of a new home as defined in section 2 of P.L.1977, c.467 (C.46:3B-2); b. Any individual regulated by the State as an architect, professional engineer, landscape architect, land surveyor, electrical contractor, master plumber, or any other individual in any other related profession requiring registration, certification, or licensure by the State, who is acting within the scope of practice of the individual's profession; c. Any individual who is employed by a common interest commun
