38A:12-1. The Adjutant General is authorized to lease or acquire by gift, grant, purchase, exchange, eminent domain, or in any other lawful manner, in the name of and for the use of the State of New Jersey, such real property as shall be necessary for the purpose of armories or other military facilities. No real property leased by this State or the United States for armories or other military facilities shall be subject to condemnation proceedings without first obtaining the approval of the Governor.
