Protected tenancy status shall not be applicable to any eligible tenant until such time as the owner has filed his conversion recording. The protected tenancy status shall automatically apply as soon as a tenant receives notice of eligibility and the landlord files his conversion recording. The conversion recording shall not be filed until after the registration of conversion. L.1981, c. 226, s. 9, eff. July 27, 1981.
