2A:18-41. After a judgment has been docketed as herein provided, no execution shall issue in the Special Civil Part. The Special Civil Part shall have original jurisdiction with respect to the granting of a new trial, the taking of an appeal or any other matter affecting the validity of the original judgment. Any order in connection with the validity of a judgment shall be filed in both the Superior Court and in the Special Civil Part. L.1951 (1st SS), c.344; amended 1979,c.416; 1991,c.91,s.59.
