§ 18A:7A-40 — Collective bargaining agreements.

a.When a district under full State intervention is established, pursuant to section 1 of P.L.1987, c.399 (C.18A:7A-34), or when the State withdraws from intervention, pursuant to section 16 of P.L.1987, c.399 (C.18A:7A-49), collective bargaining agreements entered into by the school district shall remain in force, except where otherwise expressly provided in P.L.1987, c.399 (C.18A:7A-34 et seq.).
b.Except where otherwise expressly provided in P.L.1987, c.399 (C.18A:7A-34 et seq.), all teaching staff members and other employees of a district under full State intervention shall retain and continue to acquire all rights and privileges acquired pursuant to Title 18A of the New Jersey Statutes.
