18A:13-10. The board of education of each regional district shall provide for the holding, in accordance with the provisions of P.L.1995, c.278 (C.19:60-1 et al.), of an annual school election for the regional district. At such election there shall be elected for terms of three years, the members of the regional boards of education to succeed those members of the board whose terms shall expire in that year, except as is in this chapter provided for the election of the first elected members of the board. The term of a member of a regional board of education elected in April shall begin on May 1st and end on April 30th. The term of a member of a regional board of education elected in November shall begin on January 1st and end on December 31st. A board of education shall not conduct a meetin
