§ 13:8-56 — Easements and rights-of-way on state-owned land; grants; reclassification of designation of component river area

a. The department may grant easements and rights-of-way upon, over, under, across, or through any State-owned land within a component river area of the system in accordance with the laws and rules and regulations applicable to the department; provided, however, that any conditions precedent to granting such easements and rights-of-way shall be related to the policy and purposes of this act. b. Subsequent to the designation procedure provided in section 5 of this act, the commissioner may reclassify the designation of any component river area of the system. L.1977, c. 236, s. 12, eff.
