Text
No person or facility shall process or pack shellfish either shucked or in the shell until a certificate has been granted by the department of health and human services. A certificate shall be issued to any facility which has complied with the rules of the commissioner of the department of health and human services relative thereto. All certificates issued under this section shall expire on March 31 next following the date of issuance. All containers of shellfish shall bear identification in accordance with rules adopted by the commissioner of the department of health and human services.
