Text
(a)The commissioner of children, youth, and families, in coordination with the commissioner of human services, shall grant incentive awards of money specifically appropriated for this purpose to counties that:
(1)have not been assessed an administrative penalty under section256.017in the corresponding fiscal year; and (2) perform satisfactorily according to indicators established by the commissioner.
(b)After consultation with county agencies, the commissioner shall inform county agencies in writing of the performance indicators that govern the awarding of the incentive fund for each fiscal year by April of the preceding fiscal year.
(c)The commissioner may set performance indicators to govern the awarding of the total fund, may allocate portions of the fund to be awarded by unique ind
