Section 168. A fee, as determined by the commissioner of administration pursuant to section three B of chapter seven shall be paid to the board for the original license. Licenses shall be valid for two years and must be renewed biennially. Any application for renewal of a license which has expired shall require the payment of a re-registration fee.On or before September thirtieth of the year preceding the expiration of a license, the secretary of the board shall forward to the holder of the license a form of application for renewal thereof. Upon the receipt of the completed form and the renewal fee on or before November thirtieth, the secretary shall issue a new license for the year commencing January first.
