§9251. Creation of district; limits and jurisdiction The Calcasieu Parish Interstate Highway Lighting District is hereby created as a political subdivision of the state of Louisiana. The territorial limits of the district shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the parish of Calcasieu, and the jurisdiction of its authority shall extend throughout the parish of Calcasieu. For the purposes of this Chapter, any and all references to the interstate highway system shall include that portion of the system within the boundaries of Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.
