§ 15:581 — Authorized audits and investigations

With the written authorization of the deputy secretary, any employee or agent of the bureau, for purpose of audit or investigation of violations of any provisions herein, or any official rule or regulation of the bureau, shall be granted access by any public or private criminal justice agency collecting, processing, storing, or maintaining any documents, or automated, microfilmed, or manual records containing, or which may reasonably be expected to be used to substantiate and verify, any information or statistics the bureau is empowered to require from such public or private criminal justice agency.
