§ 34-55-10-8 — Personal property only claimed as exemption; procedure

If the debtor claims as exempt from execution personal property only, the officer holding the execution shall cause the property to be appraised and set apart to the debtor, and shall proceed to sell such other property, if any, that is subject to execution according to law.
