§ 34-40-1-1 — Inapplicability of chapter to criminal proceedings

(a)This chapter applies to civil proceedings in
which a party seeks to prove the lack of a record or entry in a record
kept in a public office.
(b)This chapter does not apply to any criminal proceedings.
