Text

The court shall order a plaintiff or the attorney for a plaintiff to deliver a copy of each:

(1)temporary restraining order;
(2)injunction;
(3)modification of a temporary restraining order or an injunction; and
(4)termination of a temporary restraining order or an injunction; to a law enforcement agency that is requested by a plaintiff and approved by the court. The copies under subdivisions (1) through (4) must be delivered by the close of the business day on which the order is granted. Each law enforcement agency shall make information on the existence and status of an order available to a law enforcement officer responding to the scene of unlawful violence or a credible threat of violence.
