§ 34-17-2-3 — Information to recover property

(a)Following forfeiture or escheat of property
as described in IC 34-17-1-3, an information may be filed by the
prosecuting attorney in the circuit court, superior court, or probate
court for the recovery of the property, alleging the ground on which the
recovery is claimed.
(b)Proceedings and judgment are the same as in a civil action for
the recovery of property.
