§ 34-13-3-11 — Approval or denial of claim by government entity
Indiana·Title 34 CIVIL LAW AND PROCEDURE·Art. 13 CAUSES OF ACTION: CLAIMS AGAINST THE·Ch. 3 Tort Claims Against Governmental Entities and Public
Within ninety (90) days of the filing of a
claim, the governmental entity shall notify the claimant in writing of its
approval or denial of the claim. A claim is denied if the governmental
entity fails to approve the claim in its entirety within ninety (90) days,
unless the parties have reached a settlement before the expiration of
that period.
