(a)It is a violation of this Chapter for: 1. a person to alter, forge, or counterfeit any manufacturer's statement of origin, certificate of title, salvage certificate, junking certificate, display certificate, registration sticker or digital registration sticker, registration card, or temporary registration permit; 2. a person to alter, forge, or counterfeit an assignment of any manufacturer's statement of origin, certificate of title, salvage certificate or junking certificate; 3. a person to alter, forge, or counterfeit a release of a security interest on any manufacturer's statement of origin, certificate of title, salvage certificate or junking certificate; 4. a person to alter, forge, or counterfeit an application for any certificate of title, salvage certificate, junking certificat
