For the separation of employees who fail to successfully complete the probationary period with the prior approval of the Director of Central Management Services. Unless otherwise required by rule or the employee is a member of a collective bargaining unit, the Director of Central Management Services may approve a probationary separation when an employee fails to satisfactorily complete the probationary period.
