Text
For assessment to determine the relative fitness of other means applicants, including employees who do not have contractual rights under a collective bargaining agreement, for the respective position. Assessments, which are the determination of whether an individual meets the minimum qualifications as determined by the class specification of the position for which they are being considered, shall be designed to objectively eliminate those who are not qualified for the position into which they are applying, whether for entrance into State service or for promotion within the service, and to discover the relative fitness of those who are qualified. The Director may use any one of or any combination of the following examination methods or the equivalent, which in his judgment best serves this
