Text

(a)As used in this Code section, the term:
(1)"Armed forces of the United States" means the army, navy, air force, space force, marine corps, or coast guard and the reserve components thereof and the uniformed components of the Public Health Service or the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
(2)"Military decoration" means:
(A)A medal, decoration, badge, or ribbon authorized by law, executive order, or regulation to be awarded to a member of the armed forces of the United States by the President of the United States, Congress, the United States Department of Defense, or the United States Department of Homeland Security;
(B)A medal, decoration, badge, or ribbon authorized by law, executive order, or regulation to be awarded to members of the organized militia; or (C) A rose
