(a)For the purposes of this section, “water company” has the same meaning as provided in section 25-32a. A person is guilty of simple trespass of public water supply watershed land that is owned, controlled or managed by a water company when, knowing that such person is not licensed or privileged to do so, such person enters or remains on the watershed land without lawful authority or the consent of the water company.
(b)Any person who violates any provision of this section shall have committed an infraction and be fined ninety dollars.
