Text
(a)The following services of state employees in positions not covered by the retirement system and in positions covered by the retirement system but who are ineligible to be members shall not be covered under Social Security:
(1)All services in any class or classes of (A) elective positions, (B) positions the compensation for which is on a fee basis, or (C) part-time positions;
(2)agricultural labor and student service, to the fullest extent such noncoverage is permitted under Section 218 of the Social Security Act.
(b)To the extent permitted by Section 218 of the Social Security Act and not prohibited above, services of state employees in positions not covered by the retirement system and in positions covered by the retirement system but who are ineligible to be members shall be cover
