(a)A sum of money not to exceed two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000.00) is appropriated from the water development account to the department of economic planning and development [economic development and stabilization board], with advice and assistance from the state engineer and the Wyoming water development commission, to develop a potential water well site in the Split Rock Formation, using the existing water filings by the department of economic planning and development [economic development and stabilization board]. The state engineer shall determine the site and dimensions of the potential well field based on best available geologic data.
(b)The department of economic planning and development shall report to the 1982 legislative session and make recommendations concerning future
