Text

(a)The Wyoming division of criminal investigation is created within the office of the attorney general.
(b)As used in this act:
(i)"Agent" means an agent of the division;
(ii)"Director" means the director of the division;
(iii)"Division" means the Wyoming division of criminal investigation;
(iv)"This act" means W.S. 9-1-611 through 9-1-627.
(c)With the approval of the governor, the attorney general shall appoint a director who is the chief administrative officer and chief agent of the division.
(d)The director shall be a professional law enforcement officer, experienced in modern methods for the detection of crime and the apprehension of criminals. He shall possess the qualifications of an agent under W.S. 9-1-613 and shall have a thorough working knowledge of criminal law and the
