§ 35-8-209 — Bond issue; custodian of moneys collected
The city or town treasurer shall be custodian of all moneys
arising from the sale of bonds issued in pursuance of the
authority given by this chapter, and he shall give additional
bond, or bonds, for the safekeeping and distributing of all such
funds, as may be provided by the city or town council.
