§ 35-8-208 — Bond issue; duty of treasurer upon payment
It shall be the duty of the city or town treasurer, as rapidly
as any coupons of said bonds are paid, to cause the word "paid"
to be cut in the same, and as rapidly as said bonds are paid to
cause the word "paid" to be cut in the body of the same.
