§ 15-6-447 — Property description; proportional payment; notice to purchasers
It is sufficient in any case to describe the lot or piece of
ground as it is platted or recorded, or described in any
official record, although it belongs to several persons. The
owner of any part may pay his proportion of the tax as
determined by the city treasurer. Any purchaser, assignee or
transferee of any property subject to assessment in any
improvement district, after the publication of the notice of
intention to create the improvement district, is held to notice
thereof and of all proceedings with reference thereto the same
as owners of the property at the time of the notice or
proceedings.
