Text
Each law enforcement and prosecuting agency, and any victim
witness program or family violence advocate funded in whole or
in part with state or federal funds, shall exercise reasonable
care to insure that victims of crimes are informed of the
existence of the state program of compensation for death or
injuries sustained by victims of crime and the procedure for
applying for compensation under this act.
