Text
(a)The victim or his dependent is entitled to
compensation under this act if:
(i)The victim suffered personal injury as a result
of a criminal act;
(ii)Repealed by Laws 1989, ch. 233, § 2.
(iii)The injury to or death of the victim was not
attributable to his own wrongful act;
(iv)The appropriate law enforcement authorities were
notified of the criminal act allegedly causing the injury to or
death of the victim as soon as practical under the circumstance
after perpetration of the offense and the claimant cooperates
with appropriate law enforcement authorities with respect to the
crime for which compensation is sought;
(v)The application for compensation is filed with
the division within one (1) year after the date of the injury to
or death of the victim, or within any extension of tim
