Text
(a)The mayor, commissioners and other officers as
provided by ordinance shall have offices in the city hall and
shall maintain regular office hours to be fixed by ordinance.
The compensation of the city officers shall be paid in monthly
installments not to exceed the following maximum amounts per
year:
(i)Mayor, seventy-two thousand dollars ($72,000.00);
(ii)Commissioner, twenty thousand dollars
($20,000.00);
(iii)City clerk, nineteen thousand dollars
($19,000.00);
(iv)City attorney, nineteen thousand two hundred
dollars ($19,200.00);
(v)City engineer, twenty thousand dollars
($20,000.00);
(vi)Police judge, six thousand dollars ($6,000.00).
(b)The annual salaries specified in subsection (a) of
this section may be fixed by ordinance at any amount less than
the maximum amount specifi
