Text
When two (2) or more religious societies or congregations have
acquired in common land upon which to erect a house of public
worship, buildings for church or school purposes, or for a
cemetery, and either desires to abandon the joint use of the
property, it may commence an action for the partition of the
common property except the cemetery, which may continue to be
used in common.
