Text
(a)After receiving the amount of the assessment, penalty,
interest, costs and charges, the treasurer shall make out a
certificate, dated on the day of sale, stating (when known) the
name of the owner as given on the assessment roll, a description
of the land or other property sold, the amount paid therefor,
the name of the purchaser, that it was sold for the assessment,
giving the names of the streets, or other brief designation of
the improvement for which the assessment was made, and
specifying that the purchaser is entitled to a deed two (2)
years from the date of sale, unless the property is redeemed.
The certificate shall be signed by the treasurer and delivered
to the purchaser who shall record it in the county clerk's
office in the county in which the lands or other property is
