§ 35-11-514 — Approval of commercial solid waste management, commercial incineration and disposal facilities

(a)No construction shall commence of, nor shall any wastes be accepted or received at, any commercial solid waste management facility, or any commercial waste incineration or disposal facility subject to regulation under W.S. 35-12-102(a)(vii) unless the facility has been approved by resolution of the board of county commissioners of the county where the proposed facility is to be located. The county commissioners shall hold one (1) or more public hearings before making their decision. The county commissioners shall publish notice of each hearing in a newspaper of general circulation in the area of the proposed facility once each week for at least two (2) consecutive weeks prior to the hearing.
