Text
(a)All powers, duties, functions and regulatory authority
vested in the state office of industrial siting administration
are transferred to the department, as of April 1, 1992. The
performance of such acts or functions by the industrial siting
division of the department shall have the same effect as if done
by the former state office of industrial siting administration
as referred to or designated by law, contract or other document.
The reference or designation to the former state office of
industrial siting administration shall now apply to the
industrial siting division of the department. The industrial
siting council shall retain all powers, duties, functions and
regulatory authority but shall be within the department.
