Sec. 109.051. EMINENT DOMAIN. The board of regents has the power of eminent domain to acquire land needed to carry out the purposes of the university system and the component institutions. Transferred, redesignated and amended from Education Code, Section 109.41 by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1173 (S.B. 907 ), Sec. 5, eff. June 19, 2015.
