(3)Any person on February 8, 1951, who was employed as an embalmer by a funeral director in this state, shall be entitled to take the examination prescribed in this chapter upon application to the board, prior to July 1, 1972, notwithstanding any other requirement.
(b)Any person, partnership, firm, association or corporation actively engaged in the operation of a funeral establishment on or before December 31, 1968, shall be granted a license for the operation of a funeral home establishment upon application accompanied by payment of a fifteen dollar ($15.00) fee; provided, that the applicant has complied with every other provision of this chapter and rules and regulations that the board may adopt in pursuance of this
